Blessing. The one word that comes to mind when thinking back to Eddie and Heidi’s wedding.
A small simple wedding on a beautiful, fall afternoon. Heidi and I met for the first time on top of Mt. Spokane in the Vista House. Immediately, I knew that we were going to be besties for the day. We had only talked for five minutes before we headed behind the Vista House for Eddie and Heidi’s first look.
Eddie, Heidi, Carson (my awesome second photographer 😉 ), and I spent the next hour laughing and adventuring around the top of Mt. Spokane. Heidi joyfully climbed over rocks and through dirt and with the most contagious smile on her face. Eddie continuously helped her through all the terrain. Finishing our adventures by the ski lift, we headed down the mountain to lodge.
The parking lot was empty except for a couple rows of wood benches and a small stage overlooking Spirit Lake. We enjoyed walking around the venue and taking some photos here and there until more family arrived.
After family photos were done, the ceremony started. I loved how, not only during the ceremony, but through out the day, God’s love was displayed in everything. It made for a truly joyful and blessed wedding!
The ceremony ended and the four of us piled into the Mt. Spokane truck and headed back up the mountain for more mountain top photos. Because you can never have too many mountain top photos, right?
From start to finish, this wedding was blessing spending a couple hours on top of on of my favorite mountains, Mt. Spokane, with an amazing couple, surrounded by the most beautiful creation.
